Hi everybody!

Maybe a couple of you know me as I've joined up with your division a couple of times while slapping the Allies in the face and taking back towns during the last round.

I knew this divisions website was all in German, but when Vasquez gave me the address for the forums, I wasn't expecting to have to actually try to understand it in order to register! :D

Using my very small knowledge of the German language which I compiled from watching Indiana Jones movies, I successfully registered to post on these forums. I feel proud. I'm in the United States Air Force and hope to one day be stationed in Germany... so perhaps I should at least take a crash course in German.

I look forward to hooking up with you guys again!

Well Vasquez, I'm all set up except for one thing.

While I was online tonight, I tried to connect to the squad channel but I kept getting connect errors. I've tried several other times tonight but the same thing happened. You guys having problems with that too?

A reason for your connect error could be that you were not listed as active in the playnet squad roster. Ive activated you now.

It's always a good channel to use for when you need to communicate without letting Allied spies in on our plans.

What about voice comms? You guys use Game Voice or Team Speak?

Gamevoice. But I will bet that you will be confused with the german chatter, hehe

I also talk some times with "Wehr" from the Windhund in our GV Server in english. Instal GV if you have it. Looking forword for some english chatter :P

I have the GameVoice headset. Is GV a lot better these days? I remember it not being very reliable when I used it during my Allied days.

I do have ICQ and MSN Messenger. I don't turn it on very much because I leave it off when I'm gaming.

Well, GV works very well for the most 7ID members. Only a few one have problems (me for example.. sometimes I have to restart gamevoice).

Ive never used Teamspeak. But we can also use a teamspeak. We can use the XXXIX korps TS server as well. I will post the log in informations later in the internal sector.

TeamSpeak 2 works with the GV headset just like GV 1.5. (I read) I'll test it out...

Ive tested the XXXIX Korps TS server today. Well it did work but I cant log into WW2OL then. And if I was in WW2OL and then connected to the TS server I cant hear them (but they could hear me) :(

According to stafnbrg´s reply its due to my system. He told me that I need at least a 1 gig compu to get it running.
