So we have a day off, so we'll try to use it to our advantage and get good numbers online during BFC-times.
Our previous independence day ops have been quite successful, but the game has changed in thee years, so I thought that this time we'll try to use our numbers advantage to the maximum and try the following:
1) We will have 3 AOs to use -- two of them will be used by the normal BFC crew,etc. The third we will set to op target town. We let it be alone for a while and set FB defs (inf only).
2) We hit the target town suddenly with massive airquake followed by as many paras as we can get.
3) Paras most likely will get all the depots, after which we leave couple guys per depot to keep the town contested and rest of the paras pack the bunker / camp infspawns.
4) When paras drop we will also start driving a couple MSs for KIAs.
5) Hopefully our LW can keep the few spawning ETs at bay and we get into the bunker and can keep it for 10 mins.
6) repeat in another town, then in the next town....
I think during lowpop the above tactic should gain us atleast a few towns, especially if the allies can be kept busy by the normal BFC crew in other towns. This form of action was inspired by our previous op, where we captured Schilde with a "100 men paradrop" in a matter of minutes (although Schilde had been attrited beforehand long by many players).
Also enemy HQs are a highly suited target for this tactic.
We'll give it a shot atleast. If it doesn't seem to be working we change to our normal gun/pz/attrition tactic and help the BFC crew with a common target.
