na da bin ich ja mal gespannt:

Ok, it's time to relax after another gruelling campaign (congrats to the Allies for their victory, and to the Axis for their usual determination to give no quarter) ... time to enter the intermission break between campaigns.

This time we are going to do an infantry centric intermission where the winned will not be declared based on victory conditions set directly in territorial occupation but instead based on stats.

At the end of the intermission (probably Monday but it could be extended if the majority are having a good time with it) we will publish kills/losses/captures/losses for each country and the "winner" as such can be determined from those stats.

Startlines will be as per a normal campaign. You can use the intermission to maybe try some different ideas or manouevre strategies related to perhaps your next full camapign game. Experiment, it's how you get better as a team, and discover things you didn't know before.

There will be no tanks. Each side gets to use their armoured car as their sole AFV.

Ranks retrictions will be removed from all vehicle/weapon types.

There will be only 1 fighter aircraft type for each country. Bf109F, Spitfire Vb and Curtiss H-81. This should make for a great matchup for all pilots looking for a fair and tough fight in the air. All fighters will be DEPLOYED to only 4 airfields as a demonstration of how the airwar might be changed in the future when global spawning goes away and your squadrons are tied to a base of operations. These airfields will be:-

Knokke - Spitfire Vb
Eindhoven - Bf109F
Maubeuge - H-81
Aachen - Bf109F
Berry au Bac - Spitfire Vb
Verviers - Bf109F
Reims - H-81
Wiltz - Bf109F

No bombers will be present but we are placing some extra emphasis on paratroops (and upping their numbers) and hope that regular bomber pilots will step up to the plate and assist their ground guys in the role of being transport pilots for this intermission. Transport aircraft will be tied to the same deployments as fighter aircraft, ie: 4 per side. Escort missions for what will be tense and we hope exciting combat flights to the front

All infantry and AT/AA guns will be available, as will boats be for coastal regions.
